🌟 Funded Childcare at Smart Start Nursery

At Smart Start Nursery, from September 2025 we stretch funded hours across 48 weeks of the year to provide children with consistency, routine, and continuity in their learning — avoiding long breaks that can disrupt progress and make settling back in difficult.

✅ What We Offer:

• 15 Hours Funding = 12 hours per week (48 weeks)

• 30 Hours Funding = 23.75 hours per week (48 weeks)

• All funded sessions follow a structured timetable to support sustainability and quality of care.

🕒 Session Examples:

• Morning session: 9am – 11.30am (15-hour funding stretched) or 8am – 12.45pm (30-hour funding stretched)

• Afternoon session: 12pm – 2.30pm (15-hour funding stretched) or 1pm – 5.45pm (30-hour funding stretched)

➕ Additional Hours:

Need longer days? No problem! You can purchase extra hours on top of your funded sessions for just £6 per hour, or choose a full-time place (Monday to Friday, 8am – 5.30pm) starting from £142.50 per week with funding applied.

💰 Support for Working Parents:

• Universal Credit claimants may be able to reclaim up to 85% of childcare fees.

• Tax-Free Childcare is available for eligible working families — saving 20% on paid fees.
